Christmas

Christmas Eve dinner at Aunt Marg's house. We ate lots of food and played some Apples to Apples! I had lots of fun. Have a nice Christmas!

Living Arrangements

I got a letter today from IES telling me where I will be living. It's getting so close now. I'll be in a homestay with the Matsuda family. Toru (the father) and Hiroko (the mother) are both 34 years old. I don't know what their jobs are. It seems kind of strange to have host parents that are only a little over 10 years older than me. I was expecting to be with a family that had children my age, or at least parents around the age of mine. They do have children though. Two daughters, Sakura is 5, and Momoka is going to be 1. I have no problem with kids, so this should be fun. It will be interesting for sure.

Getting ready

So it is almost time for me to leave. I finally figured out how I am going to get to Japan, but I'm still not sure where I'm going to live. Before I leave I have to finish at Target, and have fun with my family and friends.
